Jinu (尋有)

Jinu (year of birth and death unknown) was a priest of the Tendai sect who lived in the Kamakura period. He was the second son of Arinori HINO, and a younger brother of Shinran.

He left home for Mt. Hiei at a young age to enter into priesthood. Legend has it that Shinran died in the priest's lodge of Jinu called 'Zempobo' in 1262.
