Kokashu (古歌集)

Kokashu is a collection of Japanese poetry.

The title of this collection is found in a left note in "Manyoshu" (the first major anthology of early Japanese poetry). Its number of volumes, compiler, and other information are unknown. Two Choka (long poem), six Sedoka (head-repeated poem), and 18 Tanka (thirty-one syllables' poem) are extant.
