Bukkaku-ji Temple (仏覚寺)

Bukkaku-ji Temple is a temple of the Nichiren-shoshu sect located in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture. Its sango (literally, "mountain name"), which is the title prefixed to the name of a Buddhist temple, is Shotokusan.

Origin and history

September 12, 1981 - founded
The patron of the temple in its founding was Nikken Shonin, the 67th head priest of Nichiren-shoshu Taiseki-ji Temple.
