Oinomikado Nobutsune (大炊御門信経)

Nobutsune OINOMIKADO (1355 - year of death unknown) was a Court noble during the period of Northern and Southern courts (Japan). He was a son of Iekoto OINOMIKADO (a son of Fuyuuji OINOMIKADO). His Kaimyo (posthumous Buddhist name) was Yusei. He was awarded the rank of Juichii (Junior First Rank), and appointed as Gon Dainagon (a provisional chief councilor of state). He was also called Tsunetsugu.

Career

Nobutsune was born in 1355 as a child of Iekoto OINOMIKADO.

On January 31, 1398, he was awarded the rank of Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank).

On July 22, 1425 (July 21, according to Sonpibunmyaku (a text compiled in the fourteenth century that records the lineages of the aristocracy)), he entered into the priesthood.

The year of his death is unknown.
